Teaching has been a consistent joy in my life. Right after completing my studies, I was fortunate to work as a lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig for five years. During that time and since, my focus has been partly on theory and specific subjects, but increasingly on artistic practice and methods of teaching and mediation. Sharing knowledge and experiences is one aspect; creating and maintaining conducive learning environments is another, one that requires continual adaptation. Today, teaching is even more fulfilling – I can answer more questions than before, provide greater clarity, and motivate by organizing perspectives and offering guidance.
